Biography

About
I have served Mater Dei as a basketball coach resident substitute since 2001. In the 2021-22 school year, I moved to support the Attendance and Discipline Office as an associate dean where I gently remind our students of school rules including grooming, attendance, and all other items as stated in the handbook. I am a proud graduate of the Class of 1990 and was coached and mentored by Coach Gary McKnight. My senior year we captured the CIF and State Championship. It was an honor to return as a coach alongside someone who has been such an influence in my life. I’m excited to share this experience with my son someday soon who will be a member of the Class of 2027.

What I Love About MD
I’ve never really thought about it or put into words. I love the family atmosphere, the freedom to speak of God and our faith. Even in the position I’m in, I find that I make an impact and a difference in the lives of our students. That’s what has kept me here so long.
